About Anthony Gitch
Here is a brief introduction to the guy who is looking forward to helping you do more than achieve your goals.
It all begins with a line from Auntie Mame: “Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death.” That line has shaped my life and given me the courage to sample everything I can. Some things have been great, and others not so much, but I've spent my life chasing passions that ignite my spirit, pushing me to surpass my limits and defy expectations. From a rebellious punk and high school dropout to the Operations Manager of a software company, professional rider with the “World Famous” Lipizzaner Stallions, published author, and sought-after speaker, I haven't just reached my goals; I've soared past them and excelled. I believe you can too.
All that being said, I am just an everyday guy out there living my life and doing my best to be a good person. Like everyone else, I’m far from perfect; I make mistakes, but where I am different is that I have learned to embrace my mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow.
I don’t fit the mold of your typical hypnotist, change worker, mindset coach, or energy worker. My journey is rooted in personal recovery, with nearly three decades dedicated to the Co-Dependents Anonymous program. Through this experience, I’ve heard countless stories from various perspectives, making me no stranger to all of life’s complexities. I approach each situation without judgment and without being easily shocked, and I will not let you BS yourself either. These values are at the core of everything I do, and I’m here to support you on your journey. One of the things that fuels my passion is seeing people succeed. There’s something really cool about being part of an individual's ability to achieve their goals and win at life. I’m that guy who will watch game shows just to see the sheer elation on people’s faces when they win. Honesty, compassion, empathy, and directness are the four pillars of my integrity and I am proud to share my experience, strength and hope.
When I'm not working, you'll find me adventuring with my dog, Fergus, a 9-year-old Cairn Terrier who I affectionately call "my little manipulator" because he always gets his way. We're daily fixtures at Lincoln Park, soaking up the beauty of our West Seattle neighborhood. Fergus and I also love our regular trips to my hometown of Brush Prairie, WA, where we hang out with my best friend and hit the trails on horseback.
I'm incredibly fortunate to have hypno-buddies all around the globe, which means I can travel with nothing more than a plane ticket, some grocery money, and a willingness to cook. This has led to amazing journeys and unforgettable experiences, adding an extra layer of excitement and adventure to my life.
My educational journey has been marked by a diverse range of certifications and training in holistic wellness and advanced hypnotherapy skills. Starting with my TTouch Practitioner certification in 1989, I have continuously expanded my expertise over the years. I became a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner in 2003 followed by my Reiki Master status in 2004.
A desire to be self employed and live on a beach in Mexico had me become a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2007 and later a Certified Ortho-Bionomist in 2009. I never did move to the beach and still haven’t been to Mexico.
In 2012, after massage school I received my certification as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor, further complemented by becoming a Certified QiGong Instructor in 2015.
In my commitment to promoting well-being, I also became a Certified Breath Empowerment Coach in 2015 and a Certified Qi Healer in 2016, expanding my understanding of the profound connection between breath and vitality.
Additionally, I hold advanced hypnosis certifications, see below, offering a comprehensive and holistic approach to well-being and transformation.
